1st April 2025 - In a move that is expected to delight DD Free dish viewers, Star Utsav, a popular Hindi general entertainment channel, has been added to the DD Free Dish platform. 

Star Utsav is a Hindi-language general entertainment channel that offers a wide range of programming, including dramas, comedies, reality shows, and movies. Star Utsav is now available on DD Free Dish, which is India's only free-to-air DTH service. The channel can be accessed on the platform's MPEG-2 frequency.

Sony Pal is now available on DD Free Dish, which is India's only free-to-air DTH service. The channel can be accessed on the platform's MPEG-2 frequency.

Update on 31st March 2022 -

It is bad news for Star Utsav fans on DD Freedish that the Star Utsav channel is not available on this DTH platform, It was removed on 31st March. A total of 11 TV channels were removed, and 15 New TV channels were added to the DD Free dish as of 1st April 2022.

Along with Star Utsav, DD Free Dish has also removed Zee Anmol, Colors Rishtey, Sony Pal

Star Utsav is a pay channel that was previously free-to-air. Star Utsav was a fairly old TV channel of DD Free Dish and has also been a favorite of viewers. If you talk about the free-to-air top channels, before 2019 this channel was always included in that list. Star Utsav channel was launched on 7 June 2004 as a free-to-air TV channel. Accordingly, this channel has now become 16 in 2020, It was continuously available on this platform.
