70th E-Auction Result - Colors Rishtey Won the MPEG-2 Slot

As you may be aware that recently Prasar Bharati conducted the 70th E-Auction for one vacant MPEG-2 slot on DD Freedish. This slot was vacated on DD Freedish after the exit of "Dilse Movies".

e-Auction Notification -

You must be thinking that currently there is no slot for MPEG-2 in DD Freedish, then why the auction?

So it makes sense here that just a few days ago the educational TV channels of DD Freedish were also running in MPEG 2, but they have been converted to MPEG 4.

Due to this, the MPEG 2 slots on the DD Free dish can increase to more than 20. We will keep informing you about this, for the time being, we give you some information about this auction here.
