Feb 2025 Update— Good News Today is a 24-hour Hindi news TV channel owned by the TV Today Network, which is also the parent company of Aaj Tak. The channel was previously known as Tez and was rebranded as Good News Today in September 2021.
The GNT News channel focuses on positive and uplifting content, aiming to provide a refreshing change from the usual news cycle.
This channel is part of TV Today Network Group. It also participated in the 85th e-auction to be held in 2025 and has successfully renewed the MPEG-2 slot for itself. That means this channel will remain with the DD Freedish free DTH platform from 2025-26 onwards.

26 February 2024 - Good News Today (GNT) Formerly known as Aaj Tak Tez or Tez News owned by TV Today Network participated in the 75th e-auction for the MPEG-2 slot and won a slot. It will be available from 1st April 2024.
