PTC Punjabi Gold has officially secured a slot on DD Free Dish’s MPEG-4 platform through the 97th e-auction (March 2026), and will be available free-to-air from April 1, 2026. This marks a major expansion of Punjabi-language entertainment on India’s only free DTH service. PTC Network is a leading Punjabi media group, already running PTC Punjabi (GEC), PTC News, and PTC Chakde.

The channel focuses on Punjabi cinema, music, and lifestyle shows. The channel is also available in Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, catering to the Punjabi diaspora.
PTC Punjabi Gold was among the 39 successful channels in the 8th Annual (97th) MPEG-4 e-auction conducted by Prasar Bharati. The channel will be carried on DD Free Dish from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
Now, PTC Punjabi Gold channel will reach 50+ million households in India, especially rural and semi-urban areas, where DD Free dish is mainly used for entertainment or watching TV channels.
