This is good news for DD Free dish viewers that Prasar Bharati is inviting applications for allotment of Vacant MPEG-2 slots for the DD Free dish platform for the period from 19 September 2023 to 31 March 2024.
Period of time -
The time period of these newly added channels on DD Freedish will be from 19 September 2023 to 31 March 2023.
There will be another e-auction in March 2024 in which private TV channels will be added again from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
Which TV channels can participate? ,
TV channels with permission to broadcast in India from the Ministry of I&B, including national and international public broadcasters, can participate.
Last date to apply -
The last date for submission of the application is 11 September 2023 till 3 PM
