Prasar Bharati invited applications from Private satellite television broadcasters for the allotment of MPEG-2 slots of DD Free dish.

This 58th e-Auction will be processed to be tentatively held from 7th March 2022.

The 58th e-Auction will be conducted in accordance with policy guidelines for the allotment of vacant slots. These policy guidelines can be reached from here.

Who can participate in the 58th e-Auction?

Only satellite TV channels licensed and with valid permission by the ministry of I&B would be allowed to participate in the e-auction.

 Broadcasters desirous of allotment of the slot on DD Free dish are required to provide clear and unambiguous proof in support of genre classification of their channel. In case of lack of clarity, ambiguity, or conflicting information, applications will be deemed ineligible and may be summarily rejected.

Prasar Bharati reserve the right to accept /reject/cancel/amend the e-auction slot at any time during the e-auction or after the e-auction.

Prasar Bharati already announced the 57th e-auction for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 slots. Results are awaited.
