How to avoid/pass Encrypted / Scrambled TV channels in DD Free Dish?Here are we are telling you simple steps to avoid these TV channels in your channel list.
For MPEG-2 Set-Top Box -
Just press the Menu button from your remote
Go to Program Set-up
Now select Auto Scan
In Search type choose - FREE
It means you are asking to your set-top box to scan only free TV channels, because if you choose ALL then it will also scan paid TV channels which you can not receive audio and video.
So just delete all the TV channels, and scan your box again with [ Search -> FREE] option. then you will receive all the free TV channels available by DD Free dish.
For MPEG-4 / HD Set-Top Boxes :
Just press MENU button from your remote
Go to Installation
and choose Single Satellite scan
Press the Blue button for scan
Select Scan type - Blind Scan
Mode - FTA
Services - TV / Radio
Now press OK on search button.
Here [Mode -> FTA] will avoid all the pay channels, you will receive only free TV channels. So now you have clean TV channels and radio channels list.
Can we see paid channel on free dish?
No, At this time this facility is not available in DD Free dish, but there are lots of premium broadcasters added their premium channels on the platform. But you can not remove or add those channels by your own choice.
