Doordarshan launched 11 new regional DD channels for states

This is good news that now DD Free dish going to add 11 new Doordarshan regional TV channels for states. The Indian States names who got own Doordarshan channels are Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Goa.

Now above state people can enjoy local programs, local news, state-level jobs, and other beneficial information.

New Regional DD channels on DD Free dish :

1. DD Shimla is Now DD Himachal Pradesh
2. DD Hissar is now DD Haryana
3. DD Dehradun is now DD Uttarakhand
4. DD Raipur is now DD Chhattisgarh
5. DD Ranchi is now DD Jharkhand
6. DD Goa
7. DD Imphal is now DD Manipur
8. DD Itanagar is now DD Assam
9. DD Aizawal is now DD Mizoram
10. DD Shillong is now DD Meghalaya
11. DD Agartala is now DD Tripura

As per the statement, “These state channels represent the regional aspirations of the local population. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi congratulates the people of these 11 states, to get their own state regional DD channels by DD Free dish.

 PM Modi said “Glad to note that Prasar Bharati has brought 11 more State DD Channels on the Satellite footprint of India through DD Free Dish,” he tweeted. “This includes five channels for Northeastern states. This will go a long way in strengthening regional cultures and fulfilling people’s aspirations,” he said.
